FlexTouch plugin edition is a limited edition of the FlexTouch software compiled as a Winamp plugin. As well as full
FlexTouch edition does, it allows you to control Winamp player regardless of whether
Winamp is active or not. So now you don't need to activate Winamp to make an action like
"play or pause" - just press a key combination (e.g. Win+Space for toggle
between play/pause), and Winamp will respond.
As it is a plugin, FlexTouch plugin edition is loaded together with
Winamp itself, so it lacks one of the coolest full FlexTouch edition's capabilities - it
cannot start Winamp automatically whenever you press one of the hotkeys defined. The
following summarizes what FlexTouch plugin edition doesn't inherit from the full FlexTouch
edition:
 | you can only redefine main hotkeys to either Win+(Z,X,C,V,B) or
Ctrl+Shift+(Z,X,C,V,B) (if you don't have a keyboard that is "Designed for Windows

| no "Direct Play" capabilities - FlexTouch plugin edition cannot
assign individual shortcuts to a file or playlist, or an audio CD in a CD-ROM, while full
FlexTouch can, |
